Emerald Bay state park is a beautiful park with stunning views, a lake and towering trees and scenery, this wonderful nature oasis in South Lake Tahoe, CA has cliffs with tall trees surrounding the lake. The views are simply stunning, the Emerald Bay look out gives panoramic views and is a favorite among nature photographers.

Visitors can take a boat to the Fannette Island, or visit the 1920s stone castle Vikingsholm. If you are the adventurous one you can do scuba diving. The park is open all year round and admission is free.
