Deerwood Rotary Children's Park is a beautiful little play area for children in the age group of 3-8. The playground equipment is colorful and well maintained. The park is open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM and is located in Jacksonville, Florida. The Deerwood Rotary club was involved in the contract for the development of this children's park. The park was opened to public access in 2001. The surface of the playground consists of turf grass, so there is no mulch or sand. The children's park is handicapped accessible, the park has picnic tables and restrooms.

Things to Do

• Children can play all day at Deerwood Rotary children's park, the park is partially fenced and has a safe surface to play on.
• Nice and colorful two sets of playground equipment and a nice swing set is available in the park. It has slides, climbing structures and a sandbox to play in.
• Enjoy a picnic in the park with your family, there are two covered picnic tables, you can also bring a blanket.
• A basketball hoop is available for playing basketball.
• Parents can sit and rest on the nearby benches in the park.
• Bring water bottles, a drinking fountain is also available.
