Activity Overview
Add a little bit of sparkle to your paintings by whipping up some sparkling glitter paint. Make several color varieties of glitter paint or simply make one to use in conjunction with your other paints. Children of all ages will enjoy adding a little bit of magic and dazzle to their paintings.
Materials Needed
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 10 drops of food coloring
- 2 Tbsp. glitter
- Paper
- Paint Brush
How to Make It
- Mix 1/2 cup of corn syrup with 10 drops of food coloring.
- Gradually add 2 Tbsp of glitter to the mixture. It is important to mix it in slowly so that the glitter will be evenly dispersed.
- Apply to paper with a paintbrush.
- Allow to dry overnight.
