Materials Needed

How to Make and Play

  1. Lay one sheet of felt on the table.
  2. Cut 1 inch wide strips of different colored felt. Cut several that are the width of the felt sheet and several that are the length of the felt sheet.
  3. Once you have the strips cut, sort them by widths and lengths.
  4. Lay all of the lengths lengthwise on the felt sheet, one next to another all the way across horizontally.
  5. Use your glue gun to adhere one end of each felt strip to the end of the felt sheet.
  6. Fold those strips back and lay your width strips width-wise in the felt sheet, Line them up next to each other vertically.
  7. Now glue the end of each of those strips to either the top or the bottom edge.
  8. To weave, lay the horizontal strips out flat and take each of the shorter strips and weave them over and under across the felt sheet.
  9. Proceed doing this weaving with all of the strips until the whole felt sheet is covered with a pretty woven pattern.
