The Corning Museum of Glass is a unique museum in Corning, New York that was founded by the famous Corning Glass Works company for its 100th anniversary in 1951. It contains the world's finest collection of glass, including glass artwork and historical glass that dates back thousands of years. Its exhibits focus on the history, technology, art, science, design, craft, and culture of glass. In addition to viewing its over 45,000 glass objects, visitors can also make their own glass in one of their daily classes.
