Create beautiful clothespin butterflies in only 4 easy steps. There is something intriguing about butterflies and I am always trying to come up with a new and different craft to make them. This craft is super quick and easy to make and crafters of all ages can do this one fairly independently. You may want to consider gluing a magnet to the back of the butterfly clothespin and using it as a refrigerator magnet clip.
Materials Needed
- Spring loaded clothespins
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Colorful cupcake wrappers
- Googly eyes
- School glue
How to Make Them
- Paint a spring loaded clothespin in any way that you would like. Allow to dry.
- Fold cup cake wrappers into quarters.
- Use the clothespin to clip one of the folded wrappers to each side of the clothespin so that they fan out.
- Use glue to apply googly eyes to the front of the clip side. If desired you can use a marker to add a smiley face as well.
