Chinatown Insider Tips

• While there is no cost to enter Chinatown, be prepared to spend some money on souvenirs, tours, food, and admission into certain museums.
• Plan on visiting on a weekday to avoid overcrowding.
• If unfamiliar with the area, make sure to have a map. It is not uncommon to have problems with handheld GPS systems in the area.
• Life is very fast paced throughout the area, so a visit may not be appropriate for toddlers or any children who are unsteady on their feet or afraid of crowds.
• You will be walking! Families with young children will need strollers.
