Activity Overview

The goal of the Children's Museum of Phoenix is to get all of their child visitors working both physically and mentally to improve their developing skills and open them up to the wonders of the world around them. Their exhibits hope to educate parents and caregivers also on child development and parenting techniques while they aim to promote cultural diversity and social integration with their displays.

Things to Do

• There are a whole bunch of exhibits where children may play freely and safely. The Texture Cafe allows them to make and serve up the most imaginative materials possible using various materials as stand ins for the food. Outside there is the large Move It! display which gives children a range of options to test their motor skills while having fun. And for the youngest ones there is a special play space for threes and younger inside.

• Would you like to help the Museum continue to provide and improve their services? Then make a donation online today!
• Guests to the Museum are welcome to bring in their own food and drink when they visit. If you don't feel like making something in advance you can pick up lunch at their Spoonz Express Café.
• The Museum is totally wheelchair accessible. Service animals are allowed inside while there is info provided in braille. Signage services can also be organized with the staff.
• You can enter for free on the first Friday of every month from 5 pm to 9 pm as part of the Target Free First Friday Nights.
• You can download and print off a map of the Museum which shows its exhibits and amenities.
