Carnegie Museum of Natural History established in 1896 by Andrew Carnegie an industrial forms one of the fantastic attraction sites in the USA. Located in Pennsylvania, Oakland at 4400 Forbes Avenue this museum is best known for research. It is ranked among the best five Natural Museums in U.S. The Museum holds more than 22 million specimens and is comprised of 115,000 square feet with 20 galleries and has an office, research area, and a library.

The museum has 10,000 daily viewable specimens and over one million specimens accessible via online databases. It houses different fossils, including the largest Dinosaur fossils called the Jurassic. It boasts one and the only world’s Juvenile Apatosaurus fossils.

  • Have your car safely parked directly behind the museum. Parking fees are strictly cash only.
  • The Museum is opened at 10 a.m. and closed at 5 p.m daily except on Tuesdays and Sundays.
  • The museum remains closed on Tuesdays. On Sundays, it's opened at noon and closed at 5p.m.
