Activity Overview

Bulloch Hall is a historic mansion that was built in Roswell, Georgia in the late 1830s. This impressive Greek Revival mansion was the home of Martha Bulloch Roosevelt, the mother of U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, in the mid-1800s. Visitors are welcome to tour the property, which was once the site of a speech by President Roosevelt, and view features such as gardens, slave quarters, wells, and two museum rooms.

  • Take your little one to the Children's Museum Room, an interactive area designed for children between the ages of 5 and 12 which tells the story of the Bulloch and Roosevelt families, provides information about slaves, and allows children to dress up in historic clothing.
  • Explore the Museum Room, which features family artifacts and photographs as well as detailed information about Theodore Roosevelt's mother and her family.
