Briscoe Western Art Museum is a relatively new museum named after Texas governor, Dolph Briscoe, Jr. located along the San Antonio River walk in San Antonio, Texas. The museum displays art exhibits representing modern and contemporary Arts & crafts, history and culture of Texas. The museum exhibits a diorama of the Alamo, an authentic chuck wagon among other exhibits, and an outdoor sculpture garden. Many cultural events and programs are held in the museum. The museum is closed on Mondays.
