Benbroke Stables is a family owned business where anyone can learn how to ride horses, or just go out on a leisurely trail ride. It is found in the Greater Fort Worth area, around a 20 minute drive from downtown Fort Worth.
Things to Do
- Buy a horse & get the company to take care of them for you. If you have the extra money and your kids ask for a horse for a birthday or a special event then why not give one to them? You can house the new horse in the stable (you probably won't have room for it in your house anyway).
- Take classes: you and your kids can learn the beginner's course of caring for a horse, and riding them. Then you can progress to more advanced courses, or learn how to jump (equestrian) or barrel race. Sky's the limit
- Ride a horse on a guided trail ride - offered every hour, you can ride a horse around a lake with a group of other people and enjoy the scenery around you.
- Enroll the kids in a horse camp

- Special events are often announced on the company's official Facebook site: they offer Valentine's trail rides, and also participate in several stock shows & rodeo caravans.
- Get married or host a party in the compound - they have a vast compound and is full of nature/greens: perfect for an outdoor venue.
- Note that if you did enroll in a class and the weather is rainy, you can still get a lesson but not on a horse. The company will not refund your fee for these types of situations.
