Music lovers should visit Bayernhof Music Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the museum features different music machines from the 19th and 20th century. More than 85 different instruments are showcased in the museum, most are automated, such as player pianos, cylinder drum boxes, chirping boxes and other interesting musical instruments. The museum was founded by Charles B. Brown and that was his former home, the museum is an interesting and quirky place to visit with many surprises for the visitors. The museum gives fantastic views of the River Allegheny, tours of the museum are only by appointment.

  • See collectibles that range from a saxophone to a pipe organ orchestra. There are pianos, the Wurlitzer military band organ style, as well as rare automatic harp and banjo.
