Activity Overview

Relive the days of college athletics through the various sports memorabilia at the Andonie Museum. All displays are dedicated to the endeavors of the different LSU athletics teams. Managed by the LSU Alumni Association, the museum started out its collection with a donation of personal sports memorabilia from Jack and Priscilla Andonie. The collection started to grow through various donations from alumni and other sports enthusiasts. The area is small but the design and space is properly planned out fitting more than 13,000 artifacts in one place.

Things to Do

  • Sporty kids will surely be delighted in exploring the different sports collections. The museum has 54 sports displays, 30 banners, 24 TV screens, gaming consoles, and plenty of sports memorabilia. Each LSU sport is represented in the museum and all are included in the huge photo gallery.
  • Watch reruns of championship games and videos of the latest winnings of LSU's teams. The video displays changes depending on the most recent games.
  • Put your game face on and wear a football helmet for a photo. Kids can also wear the head costume of Mike, the campus' tiger mascot. Have your photos taken by the banners and feel like a part of the championship team.
